SCHEDULE CHANGES - NEWS

     The Spring Session will conclude with the Pay Back Party on April 25, 2010.  The Summer Session will begin on the 3rd day of May, 2010.  This is a three (3) person format playing the regualar session of 12 weeks.  Sign ups are being taken now for any Session.  Please contact your local Club for whom you wish to play or contact the Air Cap Pool League Director Steve Moore at 253-0515 or the League Office at CM Distributors at 652-7081.  A new Poster has been printed and has been posted in all eligible Clubs for Air Cap Pool League play.  Visit your favorite Club to view a list of eligible Clubs.  If your Club is not eligible, please contact Steve Moore for a list of those that are eligible or what action would be necessary for your Club to become eligible. 

     The weekly Fees are $7.00 per week; however, the annual sanctioning fee for Valley will be paid out of receipts and the local membership fee will be eliminated. 

    The Spring 2010 Session will end with approximaely 130 teams participating.  The Summer Session will have  divisions on each night of league play: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  There have been Four Sessions in a row where over 100 teams have signed up to play.  There are approximately 600 sanctioned player.

     REMEMBER:  The Summer Session will begn May 3, 2010.       

DATES TO REMEMBER

    Winter 2010 Pay Back Party be on Sunday April 25, 2010 from 1:00 to 4:00 at the usual location, Billiard Sports Plaza at Mt. Vernon and Oliver, Wichita, KS.  Entry deadline is April 28, 2010.

     The Fifth Annual Kansas State Championship Tournament was held at Stix Wichita, KS on November 6, 7, & 8, 2009.  Sites are still being considered for the Sixth Annual Kansas State Championship Tournament.     

Please return to this site for future announcements concerning this tournament or a State or Regional Tournament next year.

The Vegas Tournament dates are May 27, 2010 to June 5, 2010.  Please note that due to the City of Las Vegas passing a new law banning smoking in Corridors, Convention areas, and generally throughout the Hotel.  Smoking will be allowed in the Casino itself, the bar, and desginated smoking areas on the outside of the convention area and the pool.  AND, the Riveria fas been remodled - plasma T.V.'s for the rooms.  NOTE:  the 2011 Las Vegas Tournament will be held at Bally's.

Summer Session.  The Three Player formate will return with a 12 week session.

          Start:  04-25-10     (Sign up by 04-28-10)     

          Break: Vegas Week and one additional Week to be scheduled 

          Ends:  08-05-10

          Payback: 08-15-10

Fall Session.  The Four Player format will return with a 14 week session.

          Start:  08-23-10     (Sign up by 08-18-10) 

          Break: First break TBA and Thanksgiving Week

          Ends:  12-09-10

          Payback: TBA
